Apple Releases AirPort Utility 6.3 to Support New 802.11ac AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule

Alongside the launch of new AirPort Exreme and Time Capsule hardware at their WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple has now released a new version of their AirPort Utility for OS X, adding support for setting up and managing the new hardware from your Mac – including advanced 802.11ac configuration settings and enhanced remote management settings.

About AirPort Utility 6.3 for Mac

Use AirPort Utility to set up and manage your 802.11n and 802.11ac AirPort base stations, including AirPort Express, Extreme, and Time Capsule. AirPort Utility 6.3 allows you to configure and manage the new AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and includes enhanced remote management capabilities.

The update brings the version up to 6.3, and is available now through Software Update (via the Mac App Store), as well as direct download from Apple’s update site.
