Video Appears to Show iOS 7 Running on an iPad

While iOS 7 Beta 1 has been available for the iPhone and iPod touch for over a week, Apple so far has yet to release an iOS 7 for the iPad, leading many to ponder just how iOS 7 will look when running on a larger screen. Russia-based YouTube user Rozetked may have the answer in a new video posted to his YouTube channel showing what appears to be iOS 7 running on an iPad (via 9to5Mac).

No explanation is given regarding the source of the video – but it does feature some notable differences from the recent iOS 7 Xcode simulator photos forcing the iOS 7 iPhone beta to run on a virtual iPad. Despite the dubious nature of the video, it does appear to be legitimate – or at least a VERY good and elaborate hoax. Even 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman seems convinced:

Notably, there appear to be some significant changes in both the Notification Center and Control Center, although most of the visual changes are identical to the iPhone version of iOS 7. It’s unclear whether this will represent what we’ll see when the first iOS 7 iPad beta is officially seeded to developers – but at the very least, it’s something interesting to keep our eyes on!
