No Home Field Advantage for Samsung: iPhone Tops in Customer Satisfaction in South Korea

There is nothing worse than getting beat on your home field, and Samsung has got to be just a little embarrassed this morning, as it seems Apple’s iPhone got the highest score for overall customer satisfaction in a survey of 44,168 smartphone owners in South Korea.

9to5Mac:

Apple scored 52 percent against Samsung’s 50 and LG’s 46. Apple also scored highest for after-sales support, reliability and speed of repair …

U.S. readers won’t be all that surprised to hear the results, as the iPhone has taken the top spot in the J.D. Power customer satisfaction survey nine times in a row, but it’s going to raise a few eyebrows in South Korea, where consumers are usually VERY loyal to local brands.

I guess bigger doesn’t necessarily translate to better after all?
