Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 6 to Developers

Apple seeded the sixth beta of iOS 7 to developers this evening, just 9 days following iOS 7 Beta 5. The updated is available now via OTA update on devices running the first beta (through Settings, General, Software Update), as well as through Apple’s Developer Center.

The beta bears a build number of 11A4449d, and Apple’s Developer Center says the seed fixes an issue with iTunes in the Cloud.

The online documentation states that some developers were seeing purchases “download or play unexpected items.” Apple’s fix for this issue involves downloading a special configuration file to reset a device’s Media Library.

This latest version follows rumors that claim Apple is close to seeding a golden master version of the next-generation iOS to its partners ahead of a final drop to developers.

The iOS 7 beta 6 over-the-air download weighs in at 13.5MB for the iPhone 5 version.
