Apple’s Gold iPhone 5S Revealed in High-Quality Leaked Images

Now that there’s been confirmation from a variety of different and typically credible sources, including well-sourced analyst  Ming-Chi Kuo, iMore editor in chief Rene Ritchie, 9to5Mac reporter Mark Gurman, iLounge, MG Seigler of TechCrunchReuters, and more, many have wondered what such a device might actually look like.

Consensus among these reports suggests that the gold color will not be a rich or gaudy tone, but instead, a more refined “champagne” color. In case Rene Ritchie’s mockup (pictured above) doesn’t do the concept justice, new images shell images leaked by NowhereElse and ASCII (via Sonny Dickson on Twitter) can fill in the gaps.

The casing is shown compared to both a black and white iPhone 5, showing a very similar overall design. The shots also do a fantastic job of showing just how refined and subdued this so-called “champagne” color can really be expected to look if and when Apple does release an iPhone 5S in the shade later next month, as expected.

Personally, I find the “champagne” color MUCH more elegant and appealing than I first imagined it to be – I could actually see myself owning one of these.
