Netflix Launches ‘My List’ – Helps Users Quickly Find and Save What They Want to Watch Next

Netflix has announced they’ll be rolling out a new feature called “My List” over the next two weeks. The new feature is designed to help viewers quickly find and save the TV show or movie they want to watch next on the streaming service.

The idea is that users select the particular series, movies or individual episodes that they want to watch sometime in the future. These are then added to a dedicated ‘My List’ row in the Netflix home screen; the platform then uses a series of algorithms to rank and display them more prominently depending on what the viewer wants to watch first.

“In our tests, most members really appreciated this automated sorting and it was much more useful than the manual sorting capability of the Instant Queue,” Netflix noted on their blog.

The ‘My List’ section will also include special tags for titles to show when a new season is available, and my favorite: a notification when they’re about to disappear from Netflix. Man… I hate it when that happens.
