The big four wireless carriers, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile, have joined forces in a new campaign against texting while driving. They have premiered a new documentary, “From One Second to the Next,” directed by noted filmmaker Werner Herzog.
“When you get a message while driving, it’s hard not to pick up your phone,” Herzog said in a statement. “With this film, we want to help make people more aware of the potential consequences of that action.”
AT&T is also offering an online simulator that allows users to experience what happens on the road from the safety of their own computer.
