Apple Announces 2013 ‘Tech Talks’ Workshop for iOS 7 Developers – Coming to 6 Major Cities This Fall

Following Apple’s original announcement back in April, Apple has announced via its developer website that it will once again be holding a traveling workshop to help developers learn how to create and improve their iOS apps. This year’s focus will, of course, be on iOS 7, and assisting developers in learning tips and tricks to improve their app development.

The workshop will take place in 6 cities across the world. A large staff of Apple engineers will be on hand to help teach classes and provide guidance to interested developers. In effect, it functions as a miniature version of Apple’s WWDC conference. The workshop will also be split into two separate events for each city – one focused on gaming, and the other focused on app development.

From Apple’s announcement:

Get in-depth guidance about developing for iOS 7, learn practical coding tips and tricks, and obtain valuable one-on-one programming and design assistance in our lab. Choose which day is best for you — app developer day or game developer day. Apply now. There will be two events per city, one devoted to app developers and the other focusing on game developers. You’ll choose to attend either the app developer day or the game developer day. You may only apply for one day at the iOS 7 Tech Talks.

Developers who wish to attend must be members of Apple’s iOS Developer Program, and must apply to the event by no later than September 25th. For more information or to apply to attend the event, head on over to Apple’s Tech Talks page over at their developer website. Good luck!
