Apple CEO Tim Cook Takes to Twitter to Thank Customers for Record iPhone Sales This Weekend

For those that haven’t yet heard, Apple CEO Tim Cook sent his first Tweet last Friday (via 9to5Mac), talking about his visit to Apple Retail Stores and chats with customers in Palo Alto during the iPhone 5S and 5C launch. Today, he posted a second tweet from his account, thanking Apple customers everywhere for making last weekend’s record-breaking iPhone launch a possibility.

It’s nice to see Cook (or his office assistants, as the case may be) taking to Twitter – to me, it gives Apple that much more “humanity” and personal appeal. Once again, welcome to Twitter, Tim Cook!
