ChargeKey – The House Key Sized Emergency Lightning Cable is Always Handy

The folks behind the ChargeCard, the wallet-sized sync-cable for smartphones, are back with a new product called the ChargeKey. It’s a stripped down version of the ChargeCard, that’s house key sized, and is designed to reside quietly on your keyring until it’s needed in a pinch.

Gizmodo:

Available for pre-order now for $25 and shipping at the end of November, the ChargeKey is claimed to be no larger than a standard house key, and from the looks of it that claim is valid. The use of an open loop to tether it to your keyring means there’s a risk it could fall off at inopportune moments. But that also means it’s easier to quickly access when you’re phone is dying. In other words, you don’t have to destroy a fingernail trying to pry open a keyring every time you need an emergency charge. [Nomad via TechCrunch]

The ChargeKey is available for preorder for $25 at the Nomad website. [DIRECT LINK]
