3D Motion Sensor Works With Your iPhone to Help You With Your Golf Swing

Sure, another month or so and the golf season will be over in most of the U.S. But a new device promises to help you get ready for next season by helping you log and analyze your swing. Just the thing for those long winter Saturdays when you wish you were out on the course.

You’ve long been able to get wireless sports sensors that transmit data to your iPhone: heart-rate, cadence and so on. Zepp Labs has now taken the concept one step further with a small, lightweight sensor that captures data on your baseball, golf or tennis swing, providing an instant analysis and data-logging.

The 17g sensor, which contains 2 accelerometers, a gyroscope and a compass, attaches to a glove. It includes a 5-hour rechargeable battery.

The Zepp Multi-Sport Training system is scheduled for release next month at a cost of $150.
