Space Gray iPad mini Quietly Makes its Appearance on Apple Store Shelves

The Space Gray version of the first-generation non-Retina iPad mini has quietly appeared in several Apple retail stores. The new model has been available in Apple’s online store since Tuesday.

9to5Mac:

Sources say that the model is now available via several Apple Stores, but not every store. Interested customers should call their store to ensure availability…

The first-gen iPad mini is available with a 16GB capacity for $299, a drop from the device’s former $329 price. It is available in both Wi-Fi only, and Wi-Fi + Cellular models.

The Space Gray option replaces the Black and Slate version. The device is also available in a white and silver color configuration.
