iPad Air Begins Arriving at Stores – Plentiful Supply Expected

The iPad Air has begun arriving Apple Stores and resellers around the globe ahead of Friday’s official launch. One sharp eyed observer even noticed iPad Air units at a Walmart location.

Additionally, a reader has spotted that iPad Airs have begun arriving at Walmart locations (see image above and below) and the device seems to have already been placed inside of one-store’s glass casing for iPads. The special $479 price point can be seen on the sticker on the iPad Air’s packaging.

The supply of the new tablet should be plentiful on launch day across the United States. Large Apple Stores are reportedly receiving 500-1000 units of the Air, and resellers are reporting a solid number of iPad Airs on hand for eager customers.

Reports indicate that the iPad Air will available for business discounts on day one, an unusual move, as that has not been offered on launch day for any previous iPad.
