Many Countries See iPhone 5s Shipping Times Improve to 3-5 Days

Good news if you were hoping to score an iPhone 5s before the holidays, supplies of the popular handset are improving, with shipping times for the 5s improving to 3 to 5 days in many countries.

MacRumors:

In the Online Apple Store, iPhone 5s shipping estimates for all models and capacities have decreased to three to five days in multiple countries including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Asia Pacific. The iPhone 5s continues to ship within one to two weeks in European countries.

Supplies of the gold iPhone 5s remain low, but Apple has reportedly ramped up the production of the iPhone 5s, so even that model is showing signs of constraints easing. (AT&T models of the gold iPhone 5s are even showing as available for Personal Pickup in a few spot checks we made.) Reports yesterday said Foxconn would be shutting down production of the iPhone 5c in one of its plants in order to use the capacity for iPhone 5s production.

Apple is now offering the iPhone 5s in over 60 countries.
