PAFERS XSPIN: The World’s First Bluetooth Indoor Cycling ‘Appcessory’

Is the colder weather beginning to force you off of the biking path? Looking for a way to both track your indoor bicycling and make it interesting at the same time? Today PAFERS announces the release of XSPIN, the world’s first “Appcessory” for indoor fitness equipment.

From the XSPIN News Release:

XSPIN can easily be installed on nearly any kind of indoor cycle, stationary bike, elliptical, and bicycle with trainer, by attaching the small XSPIN hardware device to the pedal stem of a fitness machine. Bluetooth Smart technology sends and receives signals up to 30 feet in order to record rides and workouts for later reference or continuation and connects with iOS devices such as iPhone 4S or later, third-generation or later iPads, including the new iPad Mini with Retina Display and iPad Air, along with the fifth-generation iPod touch or newer.

The XSPIN is small enough to take anywhere, and easily affixes to indoor bikes and elliptical machines via handy velcro fasteners. Each XSPIN comes with a battery that will last up to 600 hours, a Velcro strap for affixing on a bike, two Velcro mats for attachment on elliptical machines, two anti-slip mats, and a user manual.

The XSPIN device integrates with training apps such as PAFERS’ Cycle on Earth and Cycle Rush, both available in the App Store. Cycle on Earth allows users to sync with Google Maps to plot a specific rising route, anywhere around the globe. Cycle Rush give the user a gym-like experience at home. The app contains indoor cycling training programs with motivating coaching sessions and motivational music.

The XSPIN has an MSRP of $79.95 and is available for purchase in Apple Retail Stores and online, as well as Amazon.com.
