Retina iPad mini Supplies Continue to be Constrained as Major Carriers Show Backorders

The nation’s “big four” wireless carrier reportedly still haven’t started receiving steady shipments of the cellular enable Retina iPad mini. Three of the four report the device as backordered.

AppleInsider:

According to a report from CNET, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile are all seeing estimated ship dates slip to at least December, though Apple’s own supply for Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad minis continues to improve.

Verizon recently pushed back shipping estimates for the popular device to December 2nd. AT&T’s website says all models of the Retina iPad mini will ship in 21 to 28 business days, and T-Mobile is showing an estimate of 6 to 8 weeks for shipping.

While the carriers might be left wanting, Apple continues to improve its stock of the tablet, now showing 5 to 10 days to ship.

If you’re still looking for a Cellular + Wi-Fi model of the Retina iPad mini, you might want to check the folks over at Seaturtle.org, who have somehow managed to avoid having their iPad mini notifier taken down. While you’re there, slip them a couple of bucks for the good work they do – in addition to helping you find a Retina iPad mini.
