Retina iPad mini Supply Starting to Loosen Up as Device Begins Appearing In Carrier Stores

Retina iPad mini supply constraints appear to be easing a bit, as the device is now beginning to appear in AT&T and Verizon stores in the U.S., while Apple’s online store ship-by dates have improved to one-to-three business days.

AppleInsider:

As noted by CNET, AT&T’s Web-based “in-store availability” checker is showing supply of various Retina iPad mini versions at locations around the U.S. Verizon, too, is receiving stock as its website now quotes shipping dates of Saturday, while spot checks find select brick-and-mortar outlets with batches of the device.

Just three weeks ago, AT&T was quoting 21 days or more for its ship-by dates, while Verizon was also showing constraints in supply around then, with ship-by dates at ten days or more.

Apple’s own online store has also continued to show improved ship-by dates, as it now estimates shipping of one to three days for all models and storage capacities, an improvement from the five to ten days estimated back in November.
