Meet iGreetingCard Deluxe, the easy to to use Mac app that helps you create your own personalized photo greeting cards.

Overview

iGreetingCard Deluxe is a Mac app that allows you to make electronic greeting cards. Using the app, you can select any photo from your hard drive and use it to create your own personalized greeting cards for friends and family. Using one of the large varieties of templates, users can add text, decorations, and place their photos just so. The resulting artwork can be exported to a graphics file, sent via email, or printed out to send via snail mail.

iGreetingCard Deluxe boasts over 150 beautiful greeting templates to make cards for almost any occasion.

Templates include:

  • Christmas Card
  • New Year Card
  • Thanksgiving Card
  • Valentine’s Day Card
  • Mother’s Day Card
  • Father’s Day Card
  • Halloween Card
  • Easter Day Card
  • Birthday Card
  • Wedding Card
  • Children Card
  • Baby Card
  • Anniversary Card
  • And more…

Any template you customize can be saved with its changes intact for use at a later date.

Export images formats are JPG, PNG, and TIF. This allows you to also import your cards into other graphics apps for more customization and personalization if needed.

Using the app’s built-in tools, you can drag, zoom and rotate your elements until they’re just right. Customize your borders with multiple variations of border colors, widths, and shadows. Use various text effects to personalize your message, while customizing the background of your card with control over images, colors, and patterns. Customized frames are also available in the app.

Verdict

I created various type of cards for various occasions while trying out iGreetingCard Deluxe, and found its variety of templates, decorations, and text stylings to be more than adequate for my needs.

iGreetingCard Deluxe was versatile and easy to use. Beginners will be able to sit down with this app and find themselves making beautiful greeting cards in minutes.

I do wish the output could be redirected to a printing service, such as Shutterfly, or even my local Walgreen’s Photo, but if you have a color printer and some photo paper handy, you can print the cards if needed.

This effort is a solid version 1.0 effort, and bears a look if you want to create your own personalized greeting cards.
