Apple Marketing Head Schiller Set to Take the Stand in Samsung Patent Lawsuit

Since the big dogs of Apple and Samsung were unable to hammer out an agreement to put an end to all this patent infringement back and forth between the two companies, the trial goes forward in March, and Apple’s head of marketing Phil Schiller will be once more called to the stand by Samsung.

9to5Mac:

Schiller will testify on topics surrounding the creation and marketing of many of Apple’s iconic products, including the iPhone and iPad, according to a statement released by Samsung. The South Korean company has also said there’s a chance it could call Greg Joswiak, vice president of iPhone marketing, to testify as well.

Apple has plans of its own, preparing to call several of its own executives to the stand, possibly even Scott Forstall, the former head of development for iOS until he resigned in 2012. The stint on the stand would be Forstall’s first public appearance since he left Apple.
