Apple’s iTunes Radio Music Service Debuts in Australia

Apple has launched its iTunes Radio music streaming service in its first non-U.S. market, as the service debuts today in Australia. This should be the first of many new countries the service will be launched in during 2014, as it has been previously reported that Apple is also looking to debut the service in U.K., Canada, and New Zealand in early 2014.

From the Apple Press Release:

Apple today announced iTunes Radio™ is now available to music fans in Australia. iTunes Radio is a free Internet radio service featuring over 100 stations and an incredible catalog of music from the iTunes Store, combined with features only iTunes can deliver.

While iTunes Radio is ad-supported, and free for all users, iTunes Match (AU$34.99 for a year) users can use the service ad-free. The service can be accessed via the “Music” app in iOS, and the iTunes app for Mac and PC users.
