Vevo Partnering With Apple to Stream iTunes Festival From SXSW

Vevo has announced that it will be partnering with Apple to stream this week’s iTunes Festival at SXSW. The video and entertainment platform will be limited to the same streaming options offered by Apple’s own iTunes Festival coverage, which includes Apple TV, iOS Apps, and the Mac.

Starting Tuesday, March 11 and ending Saturday, March 15, viewers can launch the Vevo iOS app or open the Apple TV channel to watch live performances from ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Mac owners can view the live stream by pointing their Safari browser to Vevo’s iTunes Festival website.

Three performances are scheduled for each night. Major acts include Soundgarden, Coldplay, and Keith Urban. Select performances will be made available for on-demand viewing following the concert.

iOS owners can view the festival can use either the Vevo apps, available for both the iPhone and the iPad, or Apple’s own iTunes Festival iOS app. Apple TV viewers can enjoy the concert on their device’s iTunes Festival channel.
