Apple Launches TD-LTE Models of iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display in China

Apple has debuted TD-LTE capable models of the iPad Air and the iPad mini with Retina Display in China. The new models add to the existing models that support other cellular networks in China.

MacRumors notes that these new models are most likely the devices that gained support with iOS 7.1 in March.

The new iPads are capable of working on China Mobile’s new 4G/TD-LTE network. The carrier began selling iPhone 5s and 5c models that operate on the network back in January.
