Following an all-day jury selection process, the jury is set for Apple’s second California patent trial against Samsung. AppleInsider:

According to in-court reports from Re/code, the jury consists of six women and two men who were vetted by counsel for both parties. Among the jurors are iPhone owners and employees of various tech companies.

Tweets from reporters on the scene indicated potential jurors that were dismissed from the final group included stockholders in AAPL, and owners of both Samsung and Apple devices.

The final group selected does not include any members with significant patents. In the first Apple v. Samsung trial, the jury foreman owned multiple properties.

As Google and Android are expected to play a prominent role this go-round, Samsung attorney Bill Price asked at least one prospective juror if they had an negative feelings against Google.

Apple SVP Phil Schiller is expected to be the first witness to take the stand when the trial resumes on Tuesday morning. Schiller is expected to testify on a wide range of topics, including “design, development, promotion, marketing, advertising, consumer demand for, and sales of the iPhone.”
