Belkin Announces the Release of The QODE Thin Type Keyboard for The iPad Air

Accessory maker Belkin has announced that their QODE Thin Type keyboard, a slim Bluetooth-connected aluminum keyboard for the iPad Air, is now available for purchase.

The QODE Thin Type, originally announced back in October, is made of anodized aluminum, and measures just 4mm thick. The Thin Type attaches to the iPad via the built-in Smart Cover magnets, and uses an “auto off” feature to conserve power.

While the Thin Type acts a protective screen cover, it is not a full case for the iPad.

The Thin Type will hold up an iPad in either Landscape or portrait modes, and the keyboard’s built-in battery is reportedly good for up to 70 hours of use, or 3,1000 hours on standby.

The Thin Type keyboard includes handy iOS-specific function keys offering quick access to iPad functions.

The QODE Thin Type keyboard comes in white and gray, and is available directly from Belkin, or Amazon.com.
