Apple has updated its official YouTube channel with a video giving a pre-grand opening peek at it latest retail location in Omotesando, Tokyo. The video gives a behind the scenes look at preparations for this Friday’s Grand Opening.
Viewers are treated a look at the preparations for the grand opening, including deliveries of Apple products, and the stocking of the back room and preparations of floor displays.
The video also shows off a central spiral staircase, that appears to be made of brushed aluminum, which leads down to additional display space, and a Genius Bar.
The outside rear concrete wall of the new store is draped in a “green curtain” of foliage, which helps cut down on the energy needed to cool the store during the day.
