T-Mobile Pairs With Apple to Offer 7-Day ‘Test Drive’ Network Trial w/iPhone 5s

T-Mobile has announced that it has partnered with Apple to offer a 7-Day no cost “Test Drive” of the iPhone 5s. The company announced the test drive as a part of its “Uncarrier 5.0” event. The “Test Drive” is designed to lure subscribers away from competing networks, and onto the T-Mobile network.

Customers can sign up on T-Mobile’s website to receive an iPhone 5s to use for a week on the T-Mobile wireless network. At the end of the 7-day trial period, the iPhone can be dropped off at a T-Mobile store. While the process costs nothing, a hold for $699.99 + taxes will be placed on your credit or debit card. Your card won’t be charged unless you fail to return the device.

It should be noted that if the phone has water damage, a damaged display or screen, has Find My iPhone activated, or can’t be powered on, the user will be charged with a $100 “damage fee”.
