Apple on Thursday sent out invitations confirming a special event to be held on September 9, 2014 at 10:00AM Pacific Time. The invitations include the tagline, “Wish we could say more.”
The Loop notes that while Apple events are usually held at either the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco or at the company’s campus, this year’s event will be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, the city where Apple’s corporate headquarters is located.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 at the event. The new handsets are expected to include a fast A8 processor, a thinner more rounded body, and improved cameras on both models.
Also, Re/Code reported yesterday that Apple will also be introducing the much anticipated “iWatch” wearable device at the September 9th event.
