ABC News Posts Teaser for “Exclusive Look” at Today’s Apple Announcements

ABC News has posted a teaser video, promoting an exclusive look at the “historic” announcements at today’s Apple event. The special will air at 6:30PM on ABC, and will be hosted by ABC anchorman David Muir. The network claims Muir is the only network television anchor invited to the event.

9to5Mac:

We’re not quite sure how “exclusive” the details in the special will be, however, given that by 6:30 PM even the smallest details of the event and perhaps even any unannounced new items to appear on Apple’s website will have been thouroughly documented already. However, it’s quite possible that Muir will sit down with an executive such as CEO Tim Cook to discuss the event and the impact it will have on Apple’s future. Muir has interviewed Apple executives in the past, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to think they’d give him another opportunity to do so.

Apple is expected to unveil a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 at today’s event, alongside their much-anticipated “iWatch” wearable device.

The Apple event kicks off at 10:00AM Pacific / 1:00PM Eastern Time. MacTrast will cover the event, and will tweet the goings on live for those of you who can’t watch the event, followed up by full coverage of the big announcements immediately following.
