Alleged iWatch Component Drawings and Specs Surface Ahead of Sept. 9 Debut

A new set of images have been posted on Reddit, allegedly showing drawings and specs for various components of Apple’s much-rumored, and highly-anticipated, iWatch.

9to5Mac:

The images show various mic and speaker components that look to be right for a watch-like device, but the poster adds more details in a description of the photos noting that Apple’s wearable will have a mic, speaker, Siri, and that a “flexible, multi-touch screen will add a new dimension to the UI.”

The source of the images purports that the device will be waterproof, (up to 20 meters), will sport battery life of around a day, and will boast the previously reported wireless charging solution. The source also claims the wearable device will be available in 8 different models, 4 color options, and two sizes.

A full set of the leaked pics are available here.

We’ll know for sure tomorrow just how authentic this set of pics are, as Apple’s event at the Flint Center in Cupertino, CA, will kick off Tuesday at 10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern Time.

The company is expected to debut its next-generation iPhone(s) at the event, and will also likely show of its wearable device, the “iWatch.” As usual, MacTrast will be covering the event as it happens. Be there, or be square.
