9to5Mac:

Cook will speak alongside other ‘ambitious and innovative companies’ in green energy, including executives from IKEA and Bloomberg. The segment is targeted at invoking instant changes in business behaviour, by highlighting how lowering carbon emissions is in the self-interest of companies in addition to the benefits on the global environment.

Cook’s appearance at Climate Week NYC is a small part of a larger effort Apple has been making recently concerning environmental sustainability. Apple has converted most of its energy usage to renewable energy, powering its data centers and upcoming “Spaceship” campus via renewable sources. Apple also hired EPEAT’s Lisa Jackson as its VP of Environmental Initiatives in May 2013.

Cook’s speech should be viewable via the below video source at 12:00 PM Eastern, 9:00 Pacific time.
