New Video Surfaces Showing Off 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Battery

We had a photo of the alleged battery for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 last week, now a video shared by Nowhereelse.fr (Google Translate) shows off what is allegedly a 2,915 mAh battery from the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.

MacRumors:

The battery shown is also shown carrying an Apple part number of 616-0675, and running at 4.35 volts, which is also in line with previous leaks.

The battery’s capacity of 2,915 mAh would be much greater than that of the 1,560 mAh battery currently found in the iPhone 5s. The 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 6 is rumored to boast a 1,810 mAh battery. While both models of the iPhone sport lower capacity power packs than competing devices, both handsets will likely benefit from the tight integration of operating system and hardware that Apple devices enjoy.

We’ll know for sure tomorrow just how authentic this video is, as Apple’s event at the Flint Center in Cupertino, CA, will kick off Tuesday at 10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern Time.

The company is expected to debut its next-generation iPhone(s) at the event, and will also likely show off its wearable device, the “iWatch.” As usual, MacTrast will be covering the event as it happens. Be there, or be square.
