Apple has added a great feature to its Apple Maps app, with animated 3D flyovers of London’s iconic landmarks Big Ben and the London Eye.
The London Eye flyover features the rotation of the London landmark, while the flyover of Big Ben displays the correct time on the face of the clock tower.
Apple continues to improve its sometimes maligned Maps app, recently adding a number of new cities to its Flyover feature that offers 3D imagery of select areas.
Apple has also recently added new data providers for Apple Maps, including GasBussy and GreatSchools. It also recently opened up its Apple Maps Connect feature to a number of new countries, allowing businesses to submit their information to be included in local listings.
