Siri Gets Vocal Improvements in iOS 8.3 Beta

Apple’s latest beta of iOS 8.3 offers up a quiet update in the form of giving Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, a more natural sounding voice.

The video above, sent to 9to5Mac by one of their readers, shows a noticeable change from iOS 8.1.1 to iOS 8.3 in the way Siri pronounces the words “potato” and “America.”

iOS 8.3 also brings a number of other improvements, including a new wireless CarPlay feature for the iPhone, new support for Google two-step verification when logging into and adding Google accounts on iOS, and a new emoji picker.

iOS 8.3 is currently in a beta release to developers, and will likely be released shortly before the upcoming Apple Watch.
