Apple has issued a new beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 to developers, just a few days after the last beta release. The update fixes a bug affecting the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Force Touch.
The only listed change to the new beta, build 14D105g, is the removal of a warning about installing on the new MacBook Pros with Force Touch.
Last Thursday’s beta, introduced Force Touch support for third-party developers, and at that time, Apple warned that it should not be installed on the new MacBook Pro models with Force Touch. Today’s beta removes that warning.
The new build (14D105g) is available for download by developers via download from the Mac Developer Center, and via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store.
From the OS X 10.10.3 Seed Notes:
This beta of OS X 10.10.3 contains new developer APIs that work with the Force Touch trackpad in the new MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) to allow a new level of interactivity and control within your apps.
