Apple Adds 20 New Flyover Areas to Apple Maps

Apple has added 20 new Flyover locations to the Apple Maps app, adding cities in the United States, Australia, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa and Spain. The new additions bring the number of available Flyover locations the app to 141 destinations.

Apple has been steadily adding new Flyover locations to its Maps app since the feature debuted nearly three years ago. The Flyover feature allows users to see select areas from the air with photo-realistic, interactive 3D views. Users can explore cities in high resolution as they zoom, pan, tilt, and rotate around the area and its landmarks.
