Another source has chimed in on the next-generation “iPhone 6s,” and it corroborates an earlier report that says the new handset will boast a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with smaller pixels. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made a similar prediction earlier this week.

Apple has included an 8-megapixel rear shooter since the 2011 release of the iPhone 4s. Each generation since has been rumored to feature a higher-resolution camera, yet Apple has instead concentrated on improvements to its Camera software.
Kuo earlier this week shared his predictions about Apple’s next-generation flagship handset, claiming the new device will boast a new design, with different casing materials and a revamped internal layout. This would be intended to address the supposed “bending” issues of the iPhone 6/6 Plus.
Kuo adds that some 5.5-inch iPhones would use sapphire covers, depending on if drop test issues could be resolved. He also sees Force Touch input making a debut in the “iPhone 6s,” along with an improved Touch ID sensor.
