Sprint Enters Prepaid Rollover Data Fray – Exclusively for Best Buy Customers

Sprint has joined T-Mobile and AT&T in offering rollover data to their prepaid cellular customers, however, they do place some key restrictions on the plan.

AppleInsider:

Beginning immediately, the Sprint Monthly Rolling Data feature applies to any prepaid plan costing at least $35 a month, and offers a 30-gigabyte cap with no expiration date for the rolled-over data.

AT&T’s GoPhone Rollover Data scheme requires customers to spend at least $45 per month, and the rollover data expires in 30 days. T-Mobile’s Data Stash plan requires subscribers to dole out at least $60 per month, but has a 12-month lifespan for the rollover data.

Sprint’s new plan restricts the offer only to customers who subscribe through Best Buy, and the carrier also notes that the Monthly Rolling Data plan is a “limited time” offer, but didn’t specify when it would end.
