Apple Issues Second Beta Seed of OS X 10.11.1 to Public Beta Testers

Apple released the second public beta of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan on Thursday. The new public beta was seeded two days after developers received a second seed of the update to El Capitan.

The beta, build 15B22c, is available to public beta testers via the “Update” tab of the Mac App Store.

Apple has not announced any significant changes in what will be the first update to the recently released OS X 10.11 El Capitan operating system. The release notes indicate the build focuses on stability, compatibility, and security.

While it isn’t known for sure what changes and updates are available in this most recent update, the first beta release of OS X 10.11.1 included new support for Unicode 8, including new emoji such as a taco,  burrito, cheese wedge, middle finger, and a unicorn head.
