Apple Seeds Beta 3 of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Apple on Wednesday seeded the third beta of the first update to OS X 10.11 El Capitan. The third beta of OS X 10.11.1 comes just one week after the second beta.

The new beta – build 15B30a – is available via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store, and is also available for download from the Apple Developer Center.

Apple has not announced any significant changes in what will be the first update to the recently released OS X 10.11 El Capitan operating system. The release notes merely asks developers to focus on Mail and Microsoft Office 2016.

While it isn’t known for sure what changes and updates are available in this most recent update, the first beta release of OS X 10.11.1 included new support for Unicode 8, including new emoji such as a taco, burrito, cheese wedge, middle finger, and a unicorn head.
