Apple Now Offers (PRODUCT)RED Leather iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Cases

A leather version of the official (PRODUCT)RED case for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has now been made available in the Apple Store online, and it should quickly roll out to the company’s retail locations.

MacRumors:

When the new line of iPhones debuted in September, only the silicone case was offered in a (PRODUCT)RED option.

The new leather case was first noticed in a retail store by French tech site iGeneration [Google Translate]. The (PRODUCT)RED leather case for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is now available in the Apple Online Store, for $45.00 and $49.00, respectively.

As you may already be aware, a portion of sales from Apple’s entire (PRODUCT)RED lineup goes to the Global Fund to help fund AIDS programs in Africa. Recent additions to the collection include (PRODUCT)RED options for the Apple Watch, including new bands, as well as (PRODUCT)RED models of the iPod nano, iPod Shuffle, the iPod touch, and iPod touch cases, iPad mini and iPad Air Smart covers, and more.

“Every day 700 babies are born with HIV. (RED)™ works with companies like Apple to fight for an AIDS‑free generation by creating (PRODUCT)RED merchandise. A percentage of gross profits from the sale of those products goes to the Global Fund to help fund AIDS programs in Africa. Since its introduction, (PRODUCT)RED has generated more than $250 million for the Global Fund — more than $70 million from Apple alone. You can help make an impact by purchasing a (PRODUCT)RED Apple Watch, (PRODUCT)RED iPod, or (PRODUCT)RED accessories for iPhone and iPad.”
