Apple Raises TestFlight Beta Tester Limit to 2,000, Build Expiration Now 60 DaysApple announced on Tuesday that it is now allowing developers to invite up to 2,000 users to beta test iOS and tvOS apps via the TestFlight beta testing platform. The number is a 100% increase from the previous 1,000 user limit.

Apple:

Now you can invite up to 2,000 users to beta test your iOS and tvOS apps before you release them on the App Store. TestFlight makes it simple to invite testers using just their email address and lets testers easily provide valuable feedback within the TestFlight app.

Apple had capped the number of TestFlight beta testers at 1,000 ever since its 2014 launch.

The company has also increased the mount of time allowed for a TestFlight beta to expire, doubling the test period from the previous 30 days, all the way up to 60 days. Both changes had been announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2015, back in June.
