Apple Takes 3 of 4 Top Slots in Google’s ‘Year in Search’ Consumer Tech List

Google has once more released its annual Year in Search video, and as usual, Google users searched for an eclectic mix of subjects, including water on Mars, gay marriage, female engineers, and much more. The search giant also posted its top ten lists of search terms for a number of categories, and Apple took three of the top four positions in the consumer tech list.

As last year, the latest iPhone model – the 6 last year and 6S this year – was the top search, while the Apple Watch climbed from #8 to #3 and the iPad Pro took 4th place. Samsung also got three places, with LG, HTC, Nexus and Microsoft getting one apiece.

The Google Top 1 Consumer Tech searches were:
