What would happen if Apple, or another company, would offer an electronic nanny? An “iMom” that could take care of the kids, cook the meals, clean the house, and all of those other nasty day-to-day chores that get in the way of living life?

This short film from Vimeo, (via iO9), isn’t original in its storyline, or even in its twist ending. it does however, offer a look at one possible future where technology takes over child-rearing.
Matilda Brown does an excellent job portraying the robot nanny in question, and director Ariel Martin does a great job in setting the mood, with the iMom commercial for the iMom, complete with bloopers and behind-the-scenes peeks. The film gives us something to think about when technology meets raising the family.
We’ll never actually allow technology to raise our kids, will we? Or are we already doing that?
