T-Mobile is once again partnering with Major League Baseball, and will offer all T-Mobile customers a free one-year subscription to the MLB.TV Premium Service. T-Mobile Offers Customers Free MLB.TV Premium Service for Third Year in a Row

T-Mobile:

T-Mobile [NASDAQ: TMUS] and Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced three more years of sweet fan perks and big league moments with the return of the Un-carrier as an official sponsor of MLB. To celebrate the expanded partnership, the Un-carrier is going big and giving customers a full, free year’s subscription to MLB.TV Premium—America’s No. 1 live streaming sports service. And, this year, T-Mobile will be the title sponsor of both the T-Mobile Home Run Derby during All-Star Week and the T-Mobile Junior Home Run Derby, a new youth competition for boys and girls.

“For the last three years MLB has been with us every step of the way as we have re-written the rules of wireless. This year we’re doubling down – and expanding the relationship even further to include the Home Run Derbies and free MLB.TV for customers,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “This isn’t just some corporate sponsorship. It’s the combined effort of two passionate teams bringing even more amazing perks and game-changing moves to baseball fans over the next three years!”

The full MLB.TV premium subscription is a $109.99 value, and T-Mobile Simple Choice customers on qualifying plans will be able to sign up beginning April 3. In order to receive the discount, customers will need to be on the T-Mobile cellular network when subscribing.

T-Mobile subscribers will be able to watch 2,430 out-of-market regular season games live via their T-Mobile devices. The app will, of course, take advantage of the carrier’s BingeOn feature, so streaming of games via the T-Mobile network will not count against a customer’s data cap.

MLB.TV Premium is available on iOS devices, Macs, Apple TV, and various other mobile devices, set-top boxes, and gaming consoles. A complete list of compatible devices and be found here. Also included is a free premium subscription to MLB.com’s At Bat.
