Apple Watch Hermès Bands to be Sold Separately, Available in 4 new Colors, Coming April 19

Apple is expanding its collection of Hermès Apple Watch bands, with four additional colors becoming available later this month. The new colors include: sapphire blue, peacock blue, white and orange. They join the existing Fauve (deer brown), Etain, Capucine, and Bleu Jean color options.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Apple chose to announce the news via fashion publications, including Elle. Prices for the bands will be, as might be expected, a bit on the expensive side, and not all colors are available for both models of the Apple Watch.

Hermès leather bands were previously only available as part of a package with a watch. This will mark the first availability of the bands as a standalone product. The new bands will be available beginning April 19.

The Single Tour band will go for $340, and will be available in sapphire blue, deer brown, fire orange and black for 42mm Watch models, while the 38mm version will be available only in in white and peacock blue.

The Cuff will hit the fashion conscious buyer up for $690, and is available only for the 42mm model, and is available in only deer brown.

The Double Tour band will be available in both regular and long strap lengths, and either length will put a $490 dent in your wallet. The regular lengths will be available with white, peacock blue, sapphire blue, tin gray, deer brown and fire orange color options, while the longer length will be available in deer brown.

The new bands will be available at select Apple Stores and Hermès outlets beginning April 19. For more information, visit the Apple website. (Or have someone do it for you. After all, if you can afford these bands, you have “people.”)
