Pebble 3.11 Update Bring iOS Text Replies to Verizon Customers, Improves Sleep Tracking, New Vibration Options, More

Pebble has released their Pebble 3.11 firmware and apps, expanding iOS Text Reply to Verizon customers, upgrading Pebble Health’s sleep tracking, introducing new customization options, and more. Pebble began offering iOS Text Reply to AT&T customers in November.

Pebble users who have a smartphone on Verizon’s U. S. network will now be able to respond to incoming messages with a voice note, (available only on Pebble Time watches), an emoji, or a custom text response.

The update also offers the following features:

  • Sleep-tracking: We’ve improved accuracy for our sleep tracking feature and added support for daytime naps that last longer than an hour. Users can find nap details on their timeline and on their sleep screen in the Health app.
  • Snooze button: With the new snooze feature, users can have timeline alerts dynamically re-delivered closer to the event start time.
  • New vibration options: Pebblers with a Time-series watch can now choose between a variety of vibration patterns for alerts and notifications.

Pebble also notes that the software update will also change the name of the Pebble app on both iOIS and Android from “Pebble Time” to “Pebble.” For more details, check out the Pebble blog post here.
