Apple Posts Job Listings for First Brooklyn Store

Apple has posted job listings looking for retail workers for its first store in Brooklyn. The timing suggests we may see the store open by the end of the year.

The job listings offer a full selection of positions, running from clerks, to store leaders, to senior management. As noted by MacRumors, Apple usually only posts job openings for an upcoming store when the opening is slated in the next several months.

Apple signed a long term lease for the location at 247 Bedford Ave. in late 2014, and renovations of the property began in 2015. Apple, of course, hasn’t identified itself as the new tenant for the property, but will likely put up some sort of promotional barrier as the opening of the store grows ever nearer.

The Brooklyn location has been long anticipated, as Apple already has six retail stores in neighboring Manhattan, including Fifth Avenue, Grand Central, SoHo, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and West 14th Street locations, as well as one store each in both Queens and Staten Island.
