As an extension of its “Shot on iPhone” Mother’s Day-themed ad, Apple has launched a new website that allows customers to create their own Mother’s day video by uploading an image of their own Mom.
The starkly simple site offers users an “Upload Image” link. By clicking the link a favorite photo of the female parental unit can be uploaded, to be included in a custom version of the Apple Mother’s Day video. The video can then be uploaded to Facebook.
The uploaded video is identical to Apple’s recent Shot on iPhone Mom’s Day ad, with the exception of the additional user uploaded photo.
Mom’s Special Day is on Sunday, May 8, so you have until then to find the perfect photo of your Mom, in order to melt her heart with your thoughtfulness. The website is available here.
Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign has been running off and on since March 2005.
