Apple Pay Coming to France, Hong Kong, and Switzerland Over Next Few Months

During Apple’s WWDC 2016 keynote on Monday, it was confirmed that Apple Pay will be arriving in France, Hong Kong, and Switzerland over the next few months. Visa and Mastercard will be supported in all three countries, while American Express will be Hong Kong-only. (Via MacRumors)

 

France

Banks and issuers participating in the France launch will include: Banque Populaire, Boon, Caisse Epargne, Carrefour Banque, Orange, and Ticket Restaurant.

Retailers in France who will accept Apple Pay at launch include: Apple, Bocage, Boulanger, Cojean, Dior, Le Bon Marché, Louis Vuitton, Orange, Pret a Manger, Sephora, and other retailers where contactless payments are accepted.

Hong Kong

Banks and issuers participating in the Hong Kong launch include: The Bank of East Asia (BEA), Bank of China (Hong Kong), DBS Bank (Hong Kong), Hang Seng Bank, HSBC, and Standard Chartered.

Apple Pay retailers in Hong Kong will include 7-Eleven, Apple, Colourmix, KFC, Lane Crawford, Mannings, McDonald’s, Pacific Coffee, Pizza Hut, Sasa, Senryo, Starbucks, ThreeSixty, and other retailers where contactless payments are accepted.

Switzerland

Banks and issuers participating in the Switzerland launch will include: Bonus Card, Cornèr Bank (Cornèrcard), and Swiss Bankers.

Apple Pay retailers in Switzerland at launch include: ALDI SUISSE, Apple, Avec, Hublot, K Kiosk, Lidl, Louis Vuitton, Mobilezone, Press & Books, SPAR, TAG Heuer, and other retailers where contactless payments are accepted.
