Some Users Report Issues With App Stores and iTunes (UPDATED)

UPDATE: 8:45PM CT – All services show as up and running on Apple’s System Status page.

Some iOS an Mac users are reporting issues accessing the iOS App Store, the Mac App Store, and the iTunes Store. A number of users have tweeted reporting issues. Apple’s System Status page shows issues with a number of Apple services, and displays the following message:

Multiple Store Services – Some users are affected
Users may be unable to make purchases.

Users report when  trying to load the App Store on their devices, the Featured and Top Charts section of the stores are blank. Other users report receiving “Cannot Connect to iTunes” messages when attempting to access the iTunes Store. Other users report no issues in any of the stores.

Apple’s System Status page at 7:00PM Central time, still reports the following services as having issues:

  • App Store
  • Apple TV
  • iBooks Store
  • iTunes in the Cloud
  • iTunes Store
  • Mac App Store
  • Volume Purchase Program
